Mirka Ultimax Ligno 5 Inch Grip Multifit Sanding Disc 60

Ultimax Ligno is a 5-inch Grip Multifit Sanding Disc by Mirka designed specifically for wood sanding applications. Its special hourglass abrasive pattern ensures a fast and even cut, while also providing a long service life with good resistance to clogging. The specially developed latex-impregnated paper offers flexibility and edgewear resistance, and features a Mirka Multifit hole pattern. The dust channels leading to extraction holes effectively control dust, keeping the abrasive grains cutting and reducing heat during sanding. This is especially important for avoiding the turning of wood dust into a clogging putty. Additionally, the disc is designed with different width dust channels to handle even larger wood dust particles.

Ultimax Ligno is also created with Mirka’s dust-free sanding technology, as wood dust exposure is a significant occupational health risk. The disc is suitable for finishing and sanding a variety of materials including chipboard, soft/resinous wood, mahogany, solid surface, ash, Dupont Corian, teak, veneer, Samsung Staron, pine, melamine, oak, hardwood, birch, beech, and tungsten carbide. It is available in packs of x50 pieces (Grit 40, 60) and x100 pieces (Grit 80, 120, 150, 180, 220, 240, 320, 400) with the Mirka Code: UL-6MF-GRIT.

The abrasive is tailored specifically for wood sanding and made of Aluminium Oxide. The Arbor hole diameter is 0.5 inches.
