The 3M Xtract Pneumatic Random Orbital Sander is a key component of the 3M Xtract sanding system. This powerful 0.28 HP (209W) sander, along with 3M Xtract Net Discs and the 3M Xtract Portable Dust Extractor, helps enable virtually dust-free sanding. 3M Xtract Pneumatic Random Orbital Sanders are built with powerful, precision-balanced air-driven motors and durable, lightweight aluminum housings, making them suitable for long hours on the shop floor.

Engineered for dust extraction as part of the 3M Xtract Sanding Solution, these sanders easily connect to the 3M Xtract Portable Dust Extractor, 3M Clean Sanding Filter Bags, or your existing central vacuum system. When used with 3M Xtract Net Discs and dust extraction, the system extracts up to 97% of the dust created during sanding.

The self-generated vacuum (SGV) feature of the 3M Xtract Pneumatic Random Orbital Sander uses the inlet air to create its own venturi vacuum, which extracts the dust from the work surface and expels it through a wide collection port on the back of the tool into a filter bag. This whisper-quiet, precision-balanced 209W motor ensures smoother running for precise sanding operations.
